Meet the Instructor

Lisette is a classically trained goldsmith and the founder of Atelier Keyser. She studied at the Vakschool Schoonhoven and later graduated in Product Design from the Willem de Kooning Academy.

Her practice blends traditional goldsmithing with a playful, expirimentfull approach to composition and adornment. She is especially drawn to combining precious elements with scavenged and natural objects to create personal, wearable stories. Exploring what it means for an object or material to hold value.

What you get
A guided, playful workshop focused on composing and assembling your own ornament using a mix of precious and found materials.

Level: Open to all – no experience needed

During this workshop, you will explore how to combine glass, metal, and found objects into a personal piece. Think bag charms, a modern-day chatelaine, or any small adornment you’d like to carry with you.

You’ll have access to a wide selection of materials from the studio: glass beads, freshwater pearls, natural stones, and a curated collection of unexpected, scavenged finds. You are also welcome to bring your own materials or pieces from a previous workshop to incorporate into your design. Or maybe you would like to make your own glass trinket to intergrate. The focus is on playful composition and intuitive making balancing refined elements with raw or found objects. You’ll be guided in simple techniques to connect, assemble, and finish your piece.

This workshop encourages experimentation and storytelling through objects. Whether you create something wearable, functional, or purely decorative, the result is a personal token shaped by your own choices.
