Meet the Instructor
Lisette is a traditionally trained goldsmith and founder of Atelier Keyser. She studied at Vakschool Schoonhoven and later completed Product Design. Wax is a core material in her practice and remains an ongoing source of exploration and experimentation due to its endless and wide applications.

What you get: A guided workshop where you'll learn the fundamentals of traditional goldsmithing while making two sterling silver stacking rings from start to finish.
Level: Open to all – no experience needed.
Stacking rings are a timeless jewellery staple and the perfect introduction to the goldsmith's bench. During this course, you'll discover how a simple length of sterling silver wire is transformed into a finished ring using traditional hand tools and techniques.
Throughout the afternoon, you'll be introduced to the foundations of the craft. You'll learn how to determine your ring size, form and solder silver, refine your work through filing and sanding, and explore different surface finishes using textures, hammers, and polishing techniques. Create two matching rings or experiment with different profiles and finishes to make a unique pair that reflects your personal style.
This course is designed not only to create beautiful jewellery but also to give you a genuine insight into the goldsmith's craft. You'll leave with a better understanding of the techniques, tools, and processes that go into making handmade jewellery, while gaining the confidence of having created your own pieces from start to finish.
If you'd like to personalise your rings even further, additional options such as flush-set gemstones, diamonds, engraving, plating etc available for an additional fee. These finishing services are completed after the workshop by Atelier KEYSER, and your rings will be ready for collection at a later date.
